So, I just don’t know what to do with this blog thingy. On one hand, I enjoy writing nonsense, while on the other, no one seems to be willing to read my nonsense.
I’d love to be able to somehow get hundreds of readers, though I seriously doubt that’s going to happen. The giveaways I sometimes do seems to bring in a lot of traffic, but I only make a few pennies in ad revenue from them, so it’s not really worth giving stuff away with no chance of a return.
I’d love to be able to receive free products to give away, like indie games or what not, but no one has been willing to cut a deal with me. I’m a low life blogger, so it isn’t like I can honestly blame them for looking the other way, but still; rejection hurts.
But, given the lack of any real money to advertise this here blog, I may as well just give more games away, in hopes of magically growing my reader base. I mean, I’d love to be able to write legitimate editorials about modern day issues with the video game industry, knowing that my obviously right opinion is being taken seriously by my loyal and awesome reader base.
But that’s more of a pipe dream than a reality. I like going big, and the fact that this blog isn’t as popular as I am… well, that bothers me.
So, I’ll just continue to do what I do. I’ll write nonsense articles, and give away random games. To be a fool on the Internet until I have a large enough user base to make what I do worthwhile.
Here’s hoping I don’t muck it up. Then again, I don’t have much to break, so I suppose I can only go up.
