I know a fair number of my readers are mostly here for the free loot. I also know that you’ve long since forsaken me, given the lack of free loot in recent times.
See, free loot ain’t free for me, since I gotta pay for it out of my own pocket. Sadly, I’m poor, and have been relying mostly on third parties to fund my shit.
Thankfully, I think I’ve found myself a bit of a solution.
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working my ass off on acquiring as many Steam keys as I can get my grubby little hands on. The goal is to sit on a small goldmine of games, of which I will give out to my loyal readers. I’ve also been working with various third parties, but given my blogs current popularity trend, I’ve been having trouble etching out deals.
So, here’s what I’m going to do, okay? Starting February 1st, I will give away a random game from my list of keys. The game will be selected entirely at random, and won’t be announced until after the giveaway has run its course. The value and quality of this game will vary by month, with $5 being the minimum retail value, and $120 being the maximum. Some games I currently have include, Rogue Legacy, Rocket League, Fallout 4, Fallout 3, Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain, Goat Simulator, Euro Truck Simulator, among over a dozen others. One of those games will be given out every month, until I have no more keys left to give. In fact, if you’re interested in the random nature of this, leave a comment below. The first and second person to comment will receive a free random game.
So there you go. Giveaways are back in business, but they’re no longer predetermined. Hopefully you guys like this new giveaway setup. If not? Well, sucks to be you, because this is staying. That of course isn’t to say that I won’t still occasionally do predetermined giveaways every now and again. It just won’t be a monthly thing.
