Android, the mobile operating system owned and distributed by Google, is by far the most buggy OS I have ever used. I’d even go as far as to say that the latest version of Android, 4.4 KitKat, is even less reliable than Windows Fucking Vista!
You see, I own a tablet. It’s an Asus Nexus 7 from 2012. Back when I got it, it worked wondrously. Everything was fast, stable, and accurate in operation. Spell check worked marvelously, YouTube ran quickly, and the general user experience was solid and intuitive.
Then, Google decided go release a new version of Android. They called it KitKat. While this version sounds delicious, it is more of a baked pile of shit than a tasty candy bar. You see, Google fucked up. While they did make some wonderful (albeit unnecessary) changes to the user interface, such as changing the blue status bar to a gray status bar, the main fuckup came in the form of system crashes, battery drainage, and app incompatibilities. Even Google’s own Chrome app crashes on me each and every day. Not too mention the WiFi issues that thousands of Android users (myself included) have been experiencing since the update.
Google has yet to do a damn thing in regards to fixing their crap, and considering how late in the game it is now, I seriously doubt Google will even bother fixing what they themselves broke. They may as well release an entirely new version of Android, and I for one hope to god they do it right this time.
